In interdisciplinary, cooperative projects, students at HAW Hamburg develop prototypes and thus create solutions for specific use cases of digital reality.
Cooperation between the Digital Reality Research and Transfer Centre and industry, architecture, medicine and educational and cultural institutions creates important synergy effects that will have a positive impact on the development of Hamburg’s creative industries and start-ups in the field of new digital realities.
New forms of collaboration and working methods will be tested in projects at the FTZ. In addition to the prototypes developed, the advantages of digitalisation for companies will be made visible and implemented in direct application.
Students learn about these technologies – virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality – and working methods in real projects and can transfer this additional expertise to the business world and drive digitalisation forward there.
